HGSA Spring Celebration

We know that this year has been a weird one for social events and building a community within our department. Especially for our newer students, we understand that the current circumstances may have prevented you from getting to know your fellow colleagues and professors to the degree you wanted. As we return to some sense of normalcy, we want to provide as many opportunities for you to build connections and memories while here at LSU.

In light of this, and the recent changes in the university's policies on social gatherings, we are taking our first cautious steps in hosting an in-person get-together on Saturday, March 27th at City Park. The event will start at 1:30. We recommend that you get there early as lunch will be provided. Tentatively, we will gather near the picnic tables near the dog park. Additional seating will be provided in the form of lawn chairs though feel free to bring your own chairs.
