I want to welcome everyone to the 2022 LSU Graduate Conference. This year's conference will consist of a mix of virtual and in-person panels. Furthermore, we are hosting two professional development panels on careers in history, each in a hybrid format.
Our keynote speaker is Dr. Tyler Priest, associate professor of history and geography at Iowa University. His current research focuses on the study of environmental history, fossil fuels, and controversies surrounding natural resource extraction.
The professional development panels will take place on Friday and Saturday from 12:30-2:30 pm in the Sternberg Salon Room in the French House. The keynote speech will take place in the same room on Friday, from 6:30-7:30 pm.
